The American Public Gardens Association offers a suite of engaging professional development opportunities to fit the needs and budgets of all those in its membership. Opportunities include:
Professional Development Symposia – Face-to-face collaboration at symposia provides professionals in similar fields the opportunity to effectively network, share ideas, and discuss challenges and successes in exciting, educational settings.
Webinars – The Association provides members with access to 1 – 4 hour webinars applicable to all aspects of public gardening. Webinars are valuable tools for gardens of all sizes, particularly those with fewer staff and limited budgets.
Annual Conference – The Association’s popular, weeklong Annual Conference offers a wealth of tours, workshops, sessions and networking opportunities.
Public Garden magazine– Our informative industry magazine is published quarterly and provides a wealth of information for member gardens, while also offering them engaging ways to share about their gardens and programs.
